GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE Hôtel La Voile

Here are the rewritten General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for Hôtel La Voile:

  1. Reservation

1.1 Booking and confirmation

It is strongly recommended to book in advance in order to guarantee room availability. The reservation will only be considered confirmed once it has been accepted by Hôtel La Voile. At the time of booking, payment in full for the stay or a credit card number must be provided, depending on the price conditions. The hotel contract is formed as soon as Hôtel La Voile confirms the reservation.

1.2 Online reservations

Reservations made via our website are valid once the reservation fee has been paid. If the payment is rejected, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

1.3 Secure payment

For bookings made by telephone or e-mail, a secure payment link will be sent to finalise the booking. This link is valid for 24 hours, after which time the booking will be automatically cancelled.

1.4 Changeable reservations (RACK)

For changeable bookings, a secure payment link will be sent 48 hours before your arrival. If payment is not received within this time, the booking will be cancelled.

  1. Payment

2.1 Terms of payment

Payment must be made no later than the day of arrival. 

2.2 Payment methods accepted

We accept credit cards (Visa, Eurocard-Mastercard) and cash.

2.3 Credit card guarantee

A valid bank card in the customer's name is required as a guarantee. A bank imprint of at least €90 will be taken on arrival. If necessary, the hotel reserves the right to charge the guarantee card for any extras, consumption or damage noted after departure.

2.4 Non-payment

In the event of non-payment, the Customer may be evicted without refund and legal action may be taken.

  1. Arrival and departure

You can check into the hotel on your own from 4pm, using the key box located in the entrance hall. A few days before your arrival (subject to full payment of your stay), you will be given information relating to your stay (access code, address). 

When you leave, the key must be deposited in the same key box by 11.00 am at the latest. A reminder message will be sent to you if the key is left late. The hotel reserves the right to charge for lost or forgotten keys. 

  1. Tourist tax

The tourist tax is not included in the price of the reservation. It is payable at the time of booking and is set at €0.90 per person per night.

  1. Breakfast

Breakfast is served from 8am to 10.30am. If not included in your rate, breakfast can be booked in advance and costs €9 per adult per night, or €6 for children (up to 10 years old).

  1. Cancellation / Change of Reservation

6.1 Free cancellation

Cancellations or changes must be made at least 2 days before arrival. If this deadline is not met, 100% of the cost of the stay will be due.

6.2 Non-refundable cancellations

Non-refundable bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking. These bookings cannot be changed, cancelled or exchanged.

6.3 Delays and early departures

There is no refund for late arrivals or early departures.

  1. Group

Group bookings (5 rooms or more) require a deposit of 30% at the time of booking, 30% 60 days before arrival and 40% 30 days before arrival. The balance must be paid one week before arrival. Cancellation free of charge up to 90 days before arrival.

  1. Cancellation of duplicate bookings

If a booking is made in error by the customer, it can be cancelled or modified within 24 hours of the booking, subject to a €35 cancellation fee, if the booking was made via our official website.

  1. Breakfast packages included

Breakfast packages included in the booking are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Any dissatisfaction with the breakfast time will not be reimbursed.

  1. Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale

The Customer declares that he/she has read and accepts these terms and conditions at the time of booking. Failure to comply with the conditions may result in immediate termination of the contract without compensation.

  1. Litigation

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought. If no agreement is reached, the consumer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer ombudsman, the Association of European Consumer Ombudsmen (AME CONSO)**, within one year of the complaint.

  1. Cold calling

The Customer may register free of charge on the anti-telemarketing list via the official **BLOCTEL** website.

  1. Non-compliance with the Conditions

If the Customer fails to comply with these conditions, Hôtel La Voile reserves the right to ask the Customer to leave the establishment immediately, without any right to compensation.
